Bespoke Kitchen Foods, Blast Freezers

Having been a customer for many years, Bespoke Kitchen Foods needed to enlarge their blast freezing capacity to allow for an increase in production and to streamline their operations.

QCS worked with their senior management team to come up with a new freezer design that could cope with the increase in capacity but would be as economical as possible to run.

Custom built stainless steel evaporators were utilised to maximise air flow and provide the heat extraction necessary to freeze 20,000 kgs of product from +60 C to -20 C over a 12 hr period.

High capacity Bitzer compressors were fitted into bespoke condensing units, custom built by QCS in their workshop, and coupled with digital panels to give full control over time and temperature.

New Blast Freezers have now been installed at both their production units in Leicestershire.
